Licensed Professional Counselor
Tammy Varghese
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, the thing I am most passionate about in life is caring for others!
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) in 1990. I went on to complete my Masters degree in Counseling in 2019. After working as a nurse for more than 30 years, I am excited to pursue my calling (to help others) even further as a mental health counselor.
We face challenges at every stage of life, but we don’t have to do it alone. I care for others as they work through the confusion, hurts, and disappointments that life often brings. I support you, validate you, and guide you as you gain freedom and a clearer picture of who you are.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my two wonderful children, son-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter.

Testimonials
“I would recommend Tammy to absolutely anyone!! She has given me much insight and I appreciate it! Can't thank her enough. Keep up the good work! ”
“She is professional, attentively listens, and offers sound advice and support.”
“Tammy Varghese actually listens to what you're saying, and helps you cut through the emotions of your memories while still validating the emotions. In my opinion, that skill is needed to get to the root of the problem. She then gives you a strategy to see what is causing that problem, along with mental "tools" and exercised to first cope and manage your problem.”
“If you are wondering if you should do therapy, don't be afraid. Tammy is a wonderful counselor and therapist. She understands how to get to the heart of the matter and she will do that gently and with great care as you take steps in your journey toward healing.”
“I have felt less anxious after only having 2 sessions with my therapist so far. She listens to me and offers guidance. ”
